Rachael Dickson, Catalytic Law
Getting a US trademark registration shouldn’t be difficult or expensive.
I’m here to help.
Four years of working at the USPTO—specializing in examining cannabis and hemp trademark applications—launched me into my true love in the legal world: all things trademark! Since the USPTO, I’ve worked with trademarks at a variety of businesses and big law firms, both in prosecuting trademarks and developing AI-powered search and application drafting software. Now I consult with other trademark attorneys and offer solo trademark prosecution services to ensure business owners get the best protection available.
If you couldn’t tell, trademark law isn’t just my job, it’s a joy! I regularly post pictures of trademarks I see in my everyday life on social media and talk about various trademark issues and concerns at industry conferences—most recently at MJBizCon 2022 and the International Cannabis Business Association’s Global IP Symposium. I’ve even talked about historical trademarks at a Tudor convention! My passion for intellectual property law also led me to teach and supervise students, providing pro bono service for the Intellectual Property and Entrepreneurship clinic at Suffolk University Law School.
